Online Midas Training
We have changed our Midas training is being conducted online. At present, the classroom element is available online. The practical driving element is still being conducted on a 1 to 1 basis.
The date of your driving assessment will be arranged and confirmed at the end of the online classroom training.
How our Online training will be delivered.
The training is from 09:00 to 13:00. The training will be conducted via Microsoft Teams.
Our online training requirements:
Before the course commences you will need to send a copy of your driving license (front and back) before the training. You can send this to our training department after you receive a confirmation of your booking
Your device must have a front-facing camera.
The camera must be on & you must be visible throughout the training.
Failure to adhere to these requirements means we will be unable to confirm your hours
What happens if the training is disrupted?
In this case of any disruptions to the online training such as the internet cutting off or other circumstances. We are required to ensure that trainees receive the entirety of the course they booked in hours.
In the case of a disruption to the training course, the length of the course on the day will be extended to ensure all trainees receive their required hours.
If the course is disrupted for 30 mins, then that day’s course will end at 13:30 to make up the lost time.
You can access Microsoft teams via your web browser for desktop using the link to the class that we will provide on confirmation of your course booking. Alternatively, you can download the app for different devices here.
While Microsoft teams will work across most devices. Older devices may not be able to support it. You can check out the minimum specifications for teams here.
*Window Based users, can normally use their desktop browser to access teams, but apple-based products will need to download the Microsoft Teams app.
MiDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) promotes a nationally recognised standard for the assessment and training of minibus drivers
Designed to enhance minibus driving standards and promote the safer operation of minibuses, MiDAS applies to any organisation operating or using minibuses.

A valid MiDAS training certificate is a mandatory requirement for anyone who wishes to drive any of our minibuses.
The course consists of two modules:
- The MiDAS Standard includes a half-day classroom theory session and then a driving assessment that is usually booked to take place on a separate day
- The MiDAS Accessible is a one-day course consisting of a classroom session, followed by an evaluation of your skills to secure a wheelchair into a minibus and assist someone with mobility difficulties
- MiDAS Standard – £60 Groups based in RBKC
- MiDAS Standard – £70 Groups based outside RBKC
- MiDAS Accessible – £60 Groups based in RBKC
- MiDAS Accessible – £70 Groups based outside RBKC
- A £10 deduction will apply for a Standard and Accessible course booked together (please speak to one of our team about this).
Our training centre, based in West London, is fully equipped for all your training needs. We can also travel to your premises for your convenience; in such cases, we will bring the necessary equipment required for training. Prices for this may vary depending on distance, travel and number of delegates.
