Volunteer Car Service: Making Life Accessible

Shopper Service Interview Photo

The Volunteer Car Service, runs for both the boroughs of Westminster and RBKC. The service is powered by volunteers. It helps individuals access places they cannot get to by themselves, for an affordable price. The service has been running for 28 years, almost as long as Westway CT has existed. The service helps promote independence in old age and helps combat social isolation and its negative effects.

The video below is an interview with three Westway CT users and one of our volunteers, Tim. We interviewed them to find out their thoughts about our service. We also wrote an article based on the interview for those who prefer to read.
