Every month we promote events and activities across Kensington & Chelsea you and your group can take part in that month. And if you are a member we can ensure that you can travel with ease and convenience.
This month we look at Black Joy Day, part of the V&A’s Windrush 75 Season. This is a chance to hear from musician and entertainer Winifred Atwell, headteacher and author Dr Beryl Gilroy, and activist and journalist Claudia Jones, who each travelled to the UK as a place to follow their dreams, create change, and through their work and passions inspired and empowered future generations. There is also a private, curated tour of the Windrush displays.
