We’re recruiting drivers for our community transport service, helping to fight loneliness and isolation as we make transport accessible for all. It’s a great feeling knowing that because of you, someone felt better today, saw their friends and did what they wanted on their terms, rather than stayed stuck in doors on their own. 

Community Transport is more than a job, more than wheels and more than getting from A to B. For the people it helps it is everything because without it they have less freedom of movement and less community, and it’s those things that keep us happy and well, which in turn means less trips to the GP. Being connected is important, feeling part of the place where you live makes a difference. 

For a lot of older people or those with less mobility it’s easy to see those things slip away, community transport makes sure they don’t have to. Our service is embedded in the borough, and for over 30 years we’ve helped thousands of people both directly through the services we offer, and via the group transport that we make available to local charities and orgs, enabling them to do more for the people they support. Together we are fighting social isolation and loneliness in Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster and Hammersmith & Fulham, and championing independence, dignity and happiness.
